I used the term " forced " because a demoserver without lapper isn´t any good in my oppinion. Sorry for that.

It has been mentioned before in this forum that there aren´t a lot of populated XRG/XFG only servers to be found in S1/S2 and licenced racers from time to time like to race in these cars. That´s just one of many reasons that the demo servers are popular to some people IMO.

Just run some fast testing on the official W version.Massive stutter spikes,mini-pauses or sound stutters. It all happens to me as well when connected to any S1/S2 server but not on any demoserver ( where there isn´t any automatic skin exchange at all ) . Pls. others double-check.

just want to tell you that you shouldn´t forget the demo servers. I just checked ( official W ) and right now there are more racers on the demoservers as in S1/S2 as well as there are some good grip demoservers to find.

@ get hold of a PCI graphics card. Somebody should send you one for the stamp it´ll cost this person. After receiving connect your monitor to the additionally installed PCI graphics card ( might have to tell your bios about it but prob. not ) and then you do the AGP flashing stuff, but i wouldn´t recommend it at all. I´d never try to flash a AGP the way it´s described above.

Instead: Install " nvtweak.reg " ( google ) then try do downclock your AGP card in your graphics menu. Start with 1st your memory frequency. reduce it a lot. I think as well that the memory likely is damaged - and 2nd your GPU if Gmem reducing wasn´t any helpfull.
If this won´t help your card is doomed.
There are even prg. found to release the timings of your Gmem.

Mayby the graphics driver isn´t optimized for this resolution. But it´s not likely the fault.
How many frames do you get if you (for testing) choose your former 1024x768 resolution on this monitor? Make sure setting Vsynch is off.

Let´s say 30 ppl. are racing and the rest is spectating. Some are laggy. Voluntarily they won´t leave the server...
Looking at the small bars it´s very hard to tell who it is. For players as for server admins.
Would it be a lot of work to put something beside the player names on the connection list?
Fx. players ping in milliseconds or a "lights indication" mayby ?
Green for ok ping, Yellow for decent and red for bad ping?
